Look Beyond the Introductory Offer.
A martial arts school can sound impressive online. The trial lets an Algonquin family see what happens after walking through the doors.
Watch who leads the class. Notice whether the teaching matches the student’s age. See how correction, encouragement and expectations are handled. Most importantly, decide whether the environment feels safe, focused and consistent.
For children, we pair new students with a mentor whenever possible. We also prefer a Monday start so the student can experience a more complete week and begin building a routine.

Little Hawks
Young students practice listening, balance, coordination, confidence and the classroom skills needed to participate successfully.
Kids & Teen TaeKwonDo
Students develop traditional technique, focus, discipline, practical self-defense and personal responsibility through consistent effort.
Adult TaeKwonDo
Adults train in dedicated classes focused on technique, conditioning, mobility, confidence and steady progress at an appropriate pace.
Master-Led Means Safe, Consistent Instruction.
Grandmaster Anthony Iannone began TaeKwonDo in 1982 and brings more than 40 years of experience. Master Cristina Iannone personally teaches alongside him. Classes are not handed to teenage students or inexperienced junior instructors.
